Onsite registration will be Saturday the 22nd from 4-6PM at the pavilion nearest to the trailhead, and also on Sunday morning up to 30 minutes prior to your race time. We will be accepting debit/credit cards! However we recommend online registration.
The final challenge awaits. Become one with the trail with the forest at your command. Race the infamous “Beast” trail in St. Francisville’s West Feliciana Sports Park, a 6-mile World Cup style loop of challenging technical roots, climbs and fast drops. Only true Beast Masters can be crowed Louisiana state champions!
Beginner/Cat 3 will do one lap of 6.7 miles. Intermediate/Cat 2 (and Cat1/2 female) will do two laps of 13.3 miles total. Pro/Cat 1 racers will do three laps of 19.9 miles total.
Race the smoothest, most scenic, oldest trail in Louisiana. Part of the Wild Azalea trail, this 8 mile loop is a favorite amongst locals for its all-weather dependability and hilliness without being too killer steep or technical. Always a fun race course. Yes we are racing this in the day this year, but may do a night race here next year. Volunteers for course monitoring are needed, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
One of the free benefits to racers in our series is from a sponsor that’s been with us since the beginning, Tailwind Nutrition. We are supplying a cooler and racers can fill their bottles with Tailwind at every race this season. Take the Tailwind challenge directly through their website (money back guarantee) and order some today. http://www.tailwindnutrition.com/why-tailwind/
Fantastic season opener, tough comp in all groups. Over 105 racers today, awesome! Many thanks to Chris, RJ, and the rest of MTB Acadiana for getting it on point. Preliminary results here and podium shots below.
